We Will Not Comply With Juan Crow in Arizona Or Anywhere Else

The Supreme Court just upheld the racist "show me your papers" heart of Arizona's anti-migrant SB 1070 law.  Other parts of the law were struck down but that's little comfort to Latin@s who will now be targeted by Arizona and every other state that wants to do so.  This is Juan Crow at its worst.  

The Supreme Court has failed us. Congress and the President have failed us. They have brought us to this point, but there's only one path out of this. We need to fight back against Juan Crow laws like this wherever they emerge.  It is time to win the battles starting at the local level.  Will you commit to fighting against anti-immigrant laws in your state and city and recruit your friends to do the same?

If you make this commitment we'll alert you and everyone you recruit to actions you can take against Juan Crow in your community.  We'll also be sending a strong message to those considering following Arizona's lead.

With the conservative Supreme Court ruling to uphold the racist "show me your papers" heart of Arizona's anti-migrant, SB 1070 law and refusing to protect our rights, we recognize that the only real way to fight back is to organize against anti-migrant laws like it in our own communities.  

That means fighting against Juan Crow anti-migrant hate which seeks to divide us, and supporting pro-migrant love, which recognizes our immigrant brothers and sisters for what they are, human beings seeking a better life for themselves and for their families.
