Save DREAM Act Student from Deportation

Matias Ramos, is a DREAM Act student who was picked up by Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) while he was coming back from a community organizing meeting to help pass the DREAM Act. We just learned that he is being deported and that he has 14 days to leave the country, the only place he has known as home.

ICE can stop this deportation--in fact, under new guidelines they never should have put him on deportation proceedings in the first place. But, they aren't going to act unless they hear from thousands of us! Please sign this petition so Matias can stay in the country.

NOTE: This campaign is being led by the United We Dream Network and your signatures will be shared with them if this is your first time signing on to Presente.org.

The Message

The following will be sent to ICE officials in charge of Matias Ramos deportation:

Dear Mr  Francisco Madrigal,

Matias Ramos has been a role model for young people in this country. He came at a young age and went to school in the US. President Obama's administration has sent a memo specifically asking for ICE to use their discretion on cases such as Matias's. This is why we, the undersigned, ask for you to use your authority as the field officer in  Fairfax, VA to cancel the deportation of Matias Ramos, A#089708376.
