Tell the FDA to stop the sale of deadly menthol cigarettes

Tobacco companies are still allowed to sell menthol cigarettes even though evidence suggests that they help to addict young people to cigarettes and keep them addicted for life. It's especially bad in communities of color: 80% of African Americans and 47% of Latinos smoke menthols.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is considering a ban on menthol cigarettes, but the tobacco lobby is pushing for the right to continue to target our communities with their poison.

Sign the petition to tell the FDA to ban menthol cigarettes once and for all.

The Message

Below is the message we'll send to the FDA on your behalf:

I demand that you immediately ban menthol cigarettes, which disproportionately hook Latinos, African Americans and other people of color, and contribute powerfully to negative health outcomes in these communities.
