Since 2014, thousands of Minnesotans have organized in their communities to oppose Enbridge’s Line 3 tar sands oil pipeline –– a massive pipeline that would put hundreds of waterways at risk of a spill from the 760,000 barrels of tar sands oil that would flow through Line 3 every day. The bulldozers have arrived to plow through sacred wild rice watersheds, over 800 wetlands, and 200+ bodies of water in Ojibwe treaty territory. Indigenous water protectors are fighting to protect their land, but the drones are overhead and the police are militarizing.
President Biden has the power to stop this project. He can review the permits granted by Trump and halt Line 3 construction immediately.
This will be the first climate test for his administration and we are making it clear that the Dakota Access and Line 3 pipelines must be stopped.
Sign this petition and call on President Biden to #StopLine3 immediately and invoke a climate test for all pipelines.
